Missing items, often confused with poltergiest activity, can also happen hand in hand with UFO activity in the area. I haven’t the slightest idea why items go missing. Perhaps the interdimensional beings just enjoy them, maybe it’s more of a side effect of the technology needed to transverse dimension, or something else entirely. I will keep this as a running tally of all the items that go missing in my own home. I will also update if or when they are found.
- My 2yr old has a bear that she has carried around since it was bigger than her. This thing went everywhere. (Even all the way to Brown Mountain with us) Well, she lost it and it was a nightmare. How she lost it is more interesting. She came back from the park and set it on the living room table. We went into the dinning room to eat dinner. We didn’t notice right away that it was no longer there. (She moves him a lot) Later we are going through bedtime routine and the bear isn’t there. A manhunt ensues. The house is torn apart from attic to basement and it’s just gone. I mean when I say we looked everywhere. I was frustrated to say the least but we cooled her down picked a new buddy to sleep with and things got better after a few days with her mood. STATUS: Still Missing (Ordered a new similar teddy bear off Amazon)
- My 9 yr old went to a sleepover at her grandmother’s house. She brought a pillow with her to use. We come in to pick her up the next day and she is happily sitting in the living room using her pillow as a table to eat ice cream. My husband and I go sit in the kitchen with his parents for chit chat while the kids finish their treat. My daughter comes in and puts her bowl in the sink and we start gathering their scattered belongings. And Yup you guessed it. The pillow is gone. Grandparents tear their house apart same as we we did to find the bear. We all looked in this house for a straight hour and a half. It’s gone. I got a text two days later and his mother still can’t find it. STATUS: Still Missing
- An electric pencil sharpener: It used to sit on a shelf in the closet of our art room. Needed it for homework one day, noticed it was gone and haven’t seen it since. STATUS: Still Missing
- Toothbrushes: My husband and I brushed our teeth before bed. In the morning our brushes were gone. Had to use spares in the hallway closet. STATUS: His toothbrush was found a few weeks later under my daughter’s bed. My toothbrush is still at large.
- Chargers: Any device we get always comes with a charger and cord. After a day or so, the main part gets lost and we can only find the cord. It’s gotten so bad that we have given up looking altogether any more and have just went out and got those USB wall outlets. STATUS: After TWO YEARS of missing chargers they have started making their way back. We found a handful of them where we keep the drawing paper.
- Flashlight: I always keep a flashlight in a drawer in a kitchen. We have gone through 3 flashlights. STATUS: I have yet to find a flashlight in my home. We have stopped buying them. We now just resort to using the lights on our phones.
- Remote: The remote for our living room tv disappeared a few days ago, the search is ongoing. STATUS: Found inside a couch cushion. Went missing again a week later. Tore the couch apart, then the living room. Had to go and buy a new one. Sitting on a table in the morning after missing for months. We now have 2 tv remotes.
