Is that a UFO you just saw darting past the night sky? Could it have been a meteor, Venus, a plane, the ISS? Many times UFOs are confused with things that belong in a normal night sky. To help, here’s a list of websites so you can be sure..

  • Flight Radar 24 – can be used in your PC browser to check if any planes are overhead in your area. They also have an app to download.
  • Spot the Station – an interactive map to help you find out when and where you can see the ISS in your area.
  • EarthSky – up to date information on the location of constellations, stars, planets, and other fun night time events
  • Night Sky Map – a localized website that tells you information about what’s visible in the night sky in your area.
