A friend and I were sitting on my back porch in the early evening. I don’t live in a rural area by any means. It’s more like a busy suburb. As we are chatting and enjoying the nice weather, I notice a light over the next block. At first I thought it might be a street light or a porch light. It got higher and I quickly noticed two more red lights making a triangle. I pointed over to it and asked my friend if she saw it too. It rose slowly up into the sky. It made no sound. We first tried to dismiss it as a helicopter. Once it got pretty high up it just, disappeared. One blink and it was just gone.
