Husband and I were making a trek across the country. We were moving to Las Vegas so he could go to school. When we were finally in Nevada after a three day car ride it was late at night. We were headed towards the Hoover Dam and my husband pointed out three large bright lights in the shape of a triangle up above a mountain. As a joke he said, “Look honey, aliens!” As soon as he finished the sentence our tire blew out. We had to pull over on this long dark highway to change the tire in the middle of the night. As we worked, we joked about how a ufo blew out our tire. My friend, who was traveling with us in a separate car, pulled over to help us. I told her what happened and pointed toward the lights, that I had assumed were flood lights of some kind. They were gone. When we finally got around to the other side of mountain, we couldn’t see anything in the area that would have produced such a bright light. It was absolutely desolate.
